I am a BACP-accredited counsellor supporting adults and young people aged 16 and over, working online and buy telephone across the UK, including Birmingham, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester. I offer a confidential, nurturing space to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace, gain perspective, and navigate lifes challenges with support and understanding.
About me and my practice
You may be carrying too much emotionally, physically, or mentally. Burnout, caring responsibilities, health changes, anxiety, low mood, or uncertainty about identity and self-worth can all feel overwhelming.
I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities. I am a committed ally to LGBTQIA+ communities and work with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism. I also support clients living with chronic illness, disability, or sight loss, recognising how physical health, identity, and belonging are deeply connected.
As someone living with sight loss myself, I understand how adjusting to change and navigating a world not always built for difference can influence how we see ourselves and relate to others. My work draws on both professional training and lived experience to help you reconnect with your strengths and values, supporting change that feels realistic and sustainable.
I offer both brief, goal-focused therapy and longer-term psychotherapeutic work, depending on your needs and what feels most helpful. This allows us to address issues such as anxiety, low mood, and stress in the short term, or explore deeper patterns, trauma, and relationships over time.
Sessions provide space to speak openly and without judgement. Whether you are coping with loss, adjusting to change, or navigating uncertainty, my aim is to help you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward with a renewed sense of balance and self-assurance.
Experience
I am a trauma-informed integrative counsellor offering both brief and open-ended therapy for adults and young people. My approach is rooted in person-centred values and draws from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural (CBT), gestalt, and transactional analysis methods. This allows me to tailor sessions to each clients pace, goals, and lived experience.
For some, therapy is short-term and focused on specific concerns such as anxiety, low mood, stress, or loss of confidence. For others, it becomes a longer process of reflection and self-understanding, exploring how early experiences, relationships, or trauma continue to shape life in the present.
My experience includes working with clients managing chronic illness, disability, and neurodivergence, as well as those experiencing burnout, grief, or identity-related challenges. I also have particular insight into the emotional impact of sight loss and life changes connected to health, belonging, and self-acceptance.
My role is to provide a steady, collaborative space where you can think, feel, and speak freely without pressure or judgement. I aim for therapy to feel inclusive, grounded, and accessible, supporting you to develop clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self as you navigate lifes challenges.
